Czym jest PDF Audiobook Reader?
A PDF audiobook reader turns a text-based PDF into something you can listen to, page by page and sentence by sentence, without sending the file anywhere. Drop in a PDF, pick a voice and speed, and press Play. The highlighted sentence is the one being spoken. Pause keeps that exact spot. Switching apps or locking the screen keeps playback going. Close the tab or the browser and come back: the reader opens on the same page and sentence, with a Paused badge if you had stopped, and waits for Play. Browsers will not start speech by themselves after a reload, and audio cannot keep running after the browser process is fully quit — resume means the saved cursor is restored, then you press Play. Progress, the PDF, and your voice settings stay in IndexedDB on this device. Scanned image-only PDFs have no selectable text, so they cannot be read until OCR exists. Pair it with PDF Text Extractor, PDF to JPG, or PDF Compressor when you need the file in another form.

Najczęściej zadawane pytania
- Can I listen to a PDF like an audiobook?
- Yes. The tool extracts the PDF’s selectable text and speaks it with your browser’s text-to-speech voices, one sentence at a time, with the current sentence highlighted.
- Will it remember my place if I close the browser?
- Yes. The PDF, page, and sentence are stored in IndexedDB on this device, with a small localStorage pointer to the last book. Reopen the tool and press Play or Continue. Speech does not start by itself.
- Does pause save my position?
- Yes. Pause stops speech immediately and writes the current page and sentence. Play continues from that sentence, not from page 1.
- Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
- No. Extraction, storage, and speech all stay in your browser. Clearing site data for this site removes the saved book and your place.
- Why doesn't a scanned PDF read aloud?
- Scanned PDFs are pictures of pages, so there is no text layer to speak. This version does not include OCR. Use a text-based PDF, or extract text another way first.
